About Us
Sprint began in 1984 as a dealer for EDI Systems of Reno, Nevada, providing draft beer and liquor systems to customers across Western Canada. When EDI closed we began manufacturing to fill our own needs and as time went by, advanced to what you see today.
In 1990 we began manufacturing our Ceramic Beer Towers, expanding into a 4000' facility. Long a mainstay of our business, our towers continue to be popular for their elegance and charm. With a wide selection of standard colors and finishes and the ability to ship quickly, we have something for everyone. Custom logos and artwork available.
In 1994 we launched our Draft Beer Monitoring Systems. Instant profit was an immediate result and our path of continued success was set. Regular enhancements based on our tried-and-true products has led to the web based applications you see today.
In 1996 we released our Liquor Dispensing Gun. Formed of ballistic nylon with military grade switching it has a long reputation of withstanding the abuse of life in a bar.
We entered the Australian market in 1997, being the only gun type dispenser to meet stringent national standards for accuracy and consistency, With the added beverage control our systems provide came strong demand for accounting functions and Back Office functions. From this we integrated with DVR and POS systems.
In 2007 Pour Controls as added to our suite of offerings. The combination of proven hardware and cutting edge software brought Real Time Variance Reporting to the table. These options, along with other Web Based options, was a natural extension of our core business, bringing a whole new set of features and control to the market. With a clear upgrade path users of older systems could migrate to this level of control without having to replace their entire systems. These upgrades often only require new control cards so their investment became smaller and the ROI even greater.
In 2010 we added WI-Pour, the Wireless Portion Control Spout. As sales patterns at the bar change your control needs have to change with them. WI-Pour allows you to focus your investment exactly where it is needed and can be adjusted as required. It can also blend seamlessly with any of our other controls options to meet any need today's hospitality operator may face.
