The purpose of this page is to simplify service and support issues.  Here we present FAQ’s of common service issues and how to rectify before calling us.  We also offer manuals for the different products for deeper review.

If you can’t resolve your questions from this feel free to call us at 800-811-4333.  Our service policies can be read here.

Important General Step:

All Sprint electronics have onboard circuit protection from power spikes or similar issues.  When sensed the controller puts itself in suspense, then restarts after the issue clears.  Occasionally this reset may not complete itself properly and liquor systems in particular will appear to have a slow response to buttons.  Other systems will exhibit oddities.

This to inform you the system is no longer on the network.  All data is safely stored in buffer memories, but interface efforts will be compromised.

The first thing to do whenever you have a performance issue is unplug the power to the affected device, count to ten, and power it back up.  This has a 95% chance of fixing the problem.  If your system is interfaced to a PC or POS system, this reset is commanded automatically and the issue may appear to resolve itself overnight.

Below are the most common reasons a system will develop issues.  Before calling for service take a moment to run through these.

Liquor Gun Issues

If there are no lights on confirm the unit has power and keylock is turned on.

Confirm there is power to the outlet used.

The clicking indicates valves are working. Check that Reserves and/or pumps have pressure to them and properly connected.
If same issue at other guns it indicates the delivery of that brand interrupted.  Check reserve connection and pump.

Rarely does a portion size for a single brand wander.  Check other brands to see if portions are consistent.  If so, pressure applied to pumps has been altered, due to empty gas bottle, failed compressor, or adjusted regulator setting.

If regulator setting must be adjusted use small increments until correct portion is dispensed.

Bottle Guardian Issues

If there are no lights on confirm the unit has power and keylock is turned on.

Confirm there is power to the outlet used.

If the display shows the brand poured but no spout actuation if indicates a stuck spout.  Use Pre-Opener to clear spout.  Severe issues will require soaking.

This indicates a bottle has the wrong spout, hence reading incorrectly.  Check and correct.
Draft Beer Monitoring Issues
First thing to check is Turbine Assemblies.  No lights on indicates a disconnected wire.  Line Cleaners sometimes unplug them and forget to plug back in.

As someone pours watch the light on the turbine pass involved.  If blink is slow or goes out while pouring and comes back on when pour stopped it indicates debris stuck in turbine chamber.

To correct, remove the beer keg and open faucet to relieve pressure.  Remove two screws securing silver disk on affected turbine pass.  Remove plug and inspect chamber for debris and remove.

Reassembly is reverse of above.

Puck in turbine is polarity sensitive, press against back wall of chamber, if light comes on it is correct.  If not, reverse puck in chamber.

Puck in turbine is polarity sensitive, press against back wall of chamber, if light comes on it is correct.  If not, reverse puck in chamber.
This is common when users change brands poured.  This can be adjusted in software, check the manual.
